Hi there! Thank you for taking a moment to learn about our incredible team here at Cougar Restoration. I founded Cougar Restoration in December 2021 after a decade of building a solid base of experience in the restoration industry as part of a franchise organization.

Why did I leave the franchise world? It’s not that I didn’t enjoy working with them, I just realized we had built a firm reputation with multiple clients who preferred working with my team directly. Creating a company of our own allowed us the ability to serve a wider geographical area and reinvest the royalty payments we would have spent into equipment, technology and products which allow us to better serve our clients.

Who We Are

Who we are and where we come from is certainly important, but equally important is who we want to become and where to go from here? You see, our goal is not to become the biggest and baddest restoration contractor in Oregon. Sure, we want to be profitable, who doesn’t? Honestly though our biggest sense of accomplishment is ultimately our customer’s complete satisfaction. It sounds cliché, I know.

You could probably look on any company’s website and read how they boast of their stupendous customer satisfaction. I don’t want to be that company. Let’s be honest here, our market is saturated with scores of restoration contractors who offer the same services we do and some of them are super nice people. It’s not up to me to tell you we are the best in our industry. Our customers will tell you themselves.

Family

I’ve got an awesome wife and two fantastic kids plus our little Tilly. She’s a Malte-Poo. We started our family in Arizona in 2002 and then moved up to Beaverton in 2007. In 2008 we found this cool little city called Sherwood where we’ve been ever since.

Crew

My extended family is my crew. Wayne, Elliot, and Brian (Lil’ B). I honestly don’t know where I’d be without these boys. We’ve been through a lot together and I am proud of this team. There have been many others through the years, but these boys have stuck with me through the good, bad, and the downright ugly. They are my heart and soul and truly the lifeblood of this company.
