Job Summary:

And then we’ll show you how to lead a team, manage other heroes, take on other challenges like re-construction if you want. The question is…are you up for the challenge?
We need you on our team if you can handle…

Technician Job Duties:
– Coordinating with property owners to assess the damage they need fixed.
– Performing light demolition tasks
– Monitoring your jobs daily, recording moisture readings, taking and uploading photos, and providing detailed notes into our job database for our in house representatives to use.
– Rotated On-Call week/weekends where you are to answer, respond, and perform all above duties during and after hours for emergency issues that come up.
– Working in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
– Wearing Full PPE while cleaning mold or cleaning up sewage leaks

Additional Duties:
In addition to the description listed above, you will also be responsible for the following…
– Helping property owners through the claims process. We’ll teach you how it works and how to walk them through it if you don’t know how.
– Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
– Candidates must possess the following Skills/Characteristics:
– Strong Communication, both written and verbal.
– Positive “Can-Do” attitude.
– Ability to use and handle computer/tablet/smart phone
– Ability to work both within a team, and independently.
– Bi-Lingual Candidates are ideal, but not required.

Required Qualifying Factors:
– High School or Equivalent education
– At least 1 year preferred with Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation, and Fire Damage restoration experience. Must show proof of previous experience.
– Candidates with any certifications (IICRC- WRT, ANSI, AMRT or related, etc.) pertaining to the above scope of work will be highly considered
– Must be comfortable working in confined spaces like attics and crawlspaces
– Must have a valid driver’s license

– Certification/Continuing Education
– Must be able to lift & carry at least 50lbs. Carrying equipment up and down stairs is a requirement of the job as well
– Must be able to get into and out of crawlspace accesses in floors and attic spaces up in ceilings
– Must be able to climb up and down ladders

Restoration, Mitigation, and Remediation: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
License or certification:
Driver’s License (Required)
IICRC, WRT, ANSI, AMRT or related, etc. is a plus!

COVID-19 considerations:
We require that all employees ask the property owner before entering if they want us to wear a mask. If employees feel more comfortable wearing a mask at all times that is their choice and we will always respect that, but it is not required.
